Jennifer Whinnett

Jennifer Whinnett works at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, London as a Senior Capital Planning manager. Her role involves working with clinicians to establish clinical requirements on capital projects across the Trust. Her previous roles include practicing architecture at Murphy Philipps Architects and carrying out research and teaching at the Medical Architectural Research Unit (MARU) at London South Bank University. She has worked on a number of academic and industry collaborations with Macmillan Cancer Support, the Department of Health’s P21+ programme and Great Ormond Street Hospital NHS Trust in the fields of post occupancy evaluation and evidence based guidance. She is on the faculty of the Building Blocks for Clinicians programme which run short courses for clinicians who are involved in building projects.
