Moritz Spellenberg

Moritz is an Associate with internationally renowned healthcare design firm Llewelyn Davies Architects. He has over 15 years’ experience in the healthcare design sector both in the UK and abroad. After finishing his studies at the University Stuttgart, Germany he worked on the design of several regional district hospitals. In 2005 Moritz moved to the UK and was involved in the design and construction of some large scale PFI hospitals, including Oxford Churchill Cancer Centre and Walsall Manor Hospital. Since then, Moritz has worked with some of the leading NHS Trusts, King’s College London Hospital, University College London Hospitals, Guy’s & St. Thomas’ Hospitals, Frimely Park Hospital, Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and many others.
Currently Moritz is the lead healthcare architect for three hospitals under the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Health Initiative in Greece. He is leading a large multi-disciplinary healthcare consultancy team to support this ambitious and exemplary health infrastructure programme.
