Nikki Beckman

Nikki is a qualified and registered Architect with over 15yrs experience, specifically within the seniors living, education and healthcare sectors. In her current role as National Director of Research & Innovation at Marchese Partners, Nikki fosters partnerships and collaborative opportunities intersecting practice, industry and research to inform better practice, improve design and operational outcomes, with the ultimate aim to optimsie the experiences of all who live, work and learn within residential aged care communities.

Nikki is co-currently undertaking her PhD at Deakin University, in collaboration with the National Ageing Research Institute, researching the significance of correlations between people, place, and purpose on the experiences of residents living in aged care.

Additionally, Nikki is National Chair of Leading Aged Services Australia’s Next Generation Ambassador Council, as one of 15 young persons around Australia to lead the advocacy, improvement and ongoing support of professional services within the aged care sector.
