Australian Health Design Council

The AHDC was formed in 2011 and is a non-government organisation of professionals involved and/or interested in quality design of health facilities and is the conduit between knowledge providers and knowledge users in Australian health design.

AHDC Aims:
– To promote high quality, efficient, effective, and safe health facility design that responds to the needs of the Australian populace, in terms of respecting the rights and requirements of patients, the health workforce, the community in a sustainable natural/built environment.
– To promote training, education, and research in health facility design to ensure the long-term sustainability of the industry.
– To bring together health design professionals for networking, knowledge sharing and to promote innovation in health facility design.
