Marc Sansom

Marc Sansom is an experienced international journalist, publisher, events organiser and entrepreneur with experience of global marketing and trade development in the fields of education, research, advocacy, media and events. Specialising in the fields of healthcare, public health, wellbeing, architecture and design, he is presently the director of SALUS Global Knowledge Exchange, a wholly owned brand division of Sansom & Sansom Associates, which is dedicated to exploring the relationship between human health and the natural, social and built environment.

From 2007 to 2014, he was the chief operations officer for the International Academy for Design & Health and founding editor/publisher of World Health Design magazine. Formerly he was managing editor of a group of international healthcare magazines for the Wilmington Group, reporting on the international health service provision, medical technology and the built environment. Marc has organised international conferences, awards and exhibitions in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, North America, Asia and Australia. He has experience of all aspects of business management, from start-up, finance, strategy, marketing, sales, production, procurement and distribution.

He received his first degree in Modern History, Economic History and Politics from Royal Holloway College, London University, and his MBA in General Management and Marketing, from the University of Hull.
